Lovely little cafe lovely owner food is always freshly made and a lovely place to meet your friends the owner is a wonderful artist and makes you feel very welcome I'd recommend it to anyone

Cake was nice but we didn't have the warmest welcome and to get our buggy in we had to lift it over a bench as the gap to pass was too small. You wouldn't get a wheelchair in and if you came in your own with a buggy you wouldn't get in.

Nice place and good value cake and coffee. However, we had better reception with the house dog than the waitress who gave us a cold shoulder and snarling service. Also, the atmosphere isn't very friendly to the modern audience. The entrance is also very crowded and by far not accessible to either wheelchair or pram access. We had to lift the pram over a chair because the entrance was about 60cm wide.

Excellent home cooked meals with personal service. A good selection of hot and cold drinks.

This cafe looks lovely and rustic and inviting but sadly lacks good customer service, when we first walked in we stood waiting for anyone to even notice they have customers. My partner asked what cold drinks they had and was shocked to be handed a menu he had just read, we thought this was rude and their was not much choice of cold drinks either. When we finally got our drinks it was self serve, as had to fetch from the counter my partner had to wait further ten minutes for a coffee and after he had tried his drink it wasn't that nice.I felt sorry for customers on another table as they hadn't even been given milk for their drinks, we offered them ours as we lots left over.We also had to clear our own table before sitting down and was horrified to notice lots of dirty plates and cups stacking up on the counter. I also noticed crumbs and dustbin counter and an old spillage down the front of the counter.I have never come across service like it, totally unprofessional which is a real shame, as the place itself is so quirky. The person that owns it needs to clean it down daily and pay more attention to customers by greeting them when they enter and take the drinks and food to the customers table. It's the attention to detail that customers like plus if you engage in some conversation with customers they will probably return. We was going to have a meal here but we decided not to after the appalling service.
