Good easy and pleased with the service
If I could I would give this 0 stars. Awful, awful, awful!! My daughter and I have been treated abominably. We were told not to bother with carpet cleaning as the carpet was being changed. (It is old and threadbare and not fit for purpose) We were promised a new one when we moved in but nothing was done about it and now it seems the new residents have got to live with this carpet too. When we moved in the house was filthy and we spent 3 days just cleaning it to allow us to move in. If there wasn't a shortage of rentals there is no way we would have accepted this place. Caldicotts want your money but give nothing back in return and when questioning the return of our deposit was shouted at by one of the employees is the office. I have not been able to speak to a manager because 'they are stuck in traffic in Hereford'. Terrible service. Still awaiting deposit.
We moved in to our new house on 02/02/18. The whole process could not have been made more straight forward and easy to deal with. Every person that we dealt with at Caldicotts was friendly and professional. Having a previous bad experience with a private landlord, I would highly reccomend anybody to try this agency from both sides of the contract.
During the process of purchasing the home I have rented through Caldicotts for almost twenty years Mr Field and his staff were more than helpful sorting out a sticking point that was about to cause the deal to collapse. They went over and above their obligations as agents. I am much obliged to them.
