For our annual bowls club dinner Chef/patron Andy Link devised us an excellent 2 and 3 course menu plus coffee and the famous Riverside fudge! Although we were a table of 15, the enticing food seemed to appear effortlessly in front of us. Another wonderful meal, many thanks from Wigmore/Shobdon bowlers.
A brilliant gastro-pub at wonderful prices in a lovely spot. The staff are wonderfully attentive and friendly. I can heartily recommend the duo of pork and the mutton and cannot wait to go back.
Food is excellent, well presented and beautifully cooked with a good selection that should suit all tastes, staff are very friendly. There are also a good variety of circular walks in the beautiful surrounding countryside that can be started from the car park and the pub welcomes walkers (even with dirty walking books and a dog)
A really great find. Lovely welcome, well kept Woods beers, high quality locally sourced beautifully cooked food, varied menu including good vegetarian choices, comfortable rooms, dog friendly, happy helpful staff.... Perfect. Recommended!
Enjoyed our 3 day short break very much. Dined in, meals and breakfast excellent. Good service with attentive staff. I would recommend.
